On this date Una became a great nana again when Bethany Champkins was born. After three weeks she was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis. This is a degenerative gene which effects 1:25 people. Both parents need to have the gene then there is a 1:4 chance of the child having Cystic Fibrosis. Una wanted a tribute set up to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust to hel Bethany and others with Cystic Fibrosis currently about 8500 people in the UK.
